Portrait of a girl in oils finished

I have completed a commissioned portrait of a young girl.  Must admit it was a challenge, not just because of her hair falling across her face, but the scale of her features and the subtle glazing required to achieve depth.

I started it off in my normal monotone blocking which helps me with the proportions and tones.  I tend not to draw the features, but concentrate on the main blocks.

My client is happy with the finished result, evem though he has only seen a photographic image.
